Nozzle Types
Straight-Stream Nozzles
Smooth-bore nozzles produce a solid, high-velocity stream for reach and penetration. Common on older Japanese apparatus; simple, low-maintenance, and highly reliable.
Fog Nozzles (Fixed Pattern)
Produce a fixed cone angle of water droplets. Effective for heat absorption and protecting crews.
Combination Nozzles
Allow the operator to select between straight stream and variable fog patterns. Most versatile option
