Overview
The Template Vehicle (ア) is a long-running kei truck platform that served as a popular base for light fire apparatus throughout Japan. Spanning several generations from 1977 to 2021, the Acty was valued for its reliable E07Z three-cylinder engine and compact dimensions.
The fire truck variants are predominantly conversion bodies built by specialist manufacturers such as Morita, Tohatsu, and Ishikawajima, fitted to the standard Acty truck chassis.
