Overview

The Template Vehicle () is a long-running kei truck platform that served as a popular base for light fire apparatus throughout Japan. Spanning several generations from 1977 to 2021, the Acty was valued for its reliable E07Z three-cylinder engine and compact dimensions.

The fire truck variants are predominantly conversion bodies built by specialist manufacturers such as Morita, Tohatsu, and Ishikawajima, fitted to the standard Acty truck chassis.

Generation Guide

Notes for Importers

The HA8/HA9 generation has a longer wheelbase than earlier variants — confirm which generation your vehicle is before sourcing body parts or replacement hose guides. The E07Z engine is well-supported with aftermarket parts globally.
